I had a dream once that I color graded the photos of one of the cities in Lebanon with the exact purple color as in this canvas. This hall is in Beirut downtown, on the 25th of December 2020, at a time when lights were supposed to spark through the whole city until sun-rise, at a time when people were supposed to celebrate the birth of Christ and rejoice in warmth of families and friends. That time was the mourning state of Beirut, 3 months and 21 days after the 4th of August.
The purple shades of this canvas consist mostly Rouge.
