The wounds are still fresh, the people are still mourning, and the agony is getting stronger as the reality of the damage fades away the denial. It really is painful for the state of my city displayed in front of my eyes and its state in my mind to be complete opposites. But the people's stubbornness to resume their lives amidst the damage is what revives the vibes that have always been present at night in Beirut.
The romantic atmosphere provided by these lights and more reasons flattered me at that day of my life (see Lovescapes, Beirut City Canvas).
The lights are a combination of pink and orange reflecting different shades of orange directly underneath and darker ones away from the lights turning into brown and creating a monochromatic scene.
